Response Employment and Training (Response Training) is proud to announce that we have been named a national finalist in the 2026 Australian Training Awards – Small Training Provider of the Year category.

This national recognition is a significant achievement for our Northern Territory-based registered training organisation and reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality, inclusive and accessible vocational education and training.

For more than a decade, Response Training has worked closely with employers, communities and industry partners to create meaningful training and employment pathways, with a particular focus on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander learners and people living and working in regional and remote communities.

Our approach goes beyond delivering qualifications. We recognise that successful training must respond to the individual needs of learners, the realities of remote workplaces and the cultural and community contexts in which we operate.

Through flexible, workplace-based and culturally responsive training, we support learners to build confidence, develop practical skills, achieve nationally recognised qualifications and contribute to stronger local workforces.

Being selected as a national finalist is a testament to the dedication of our team, as well as the commitment of our learners, employers and community partners.

Our success is built on strong relationships, personalised learner support and a shared belief that access to quality education and training should not be determined by geography or personal circumstances.

This recognition also highlights the important role smaller training providers play in responding to workforce challenges, particularly in the aged care, disability and community services sectors.

As a national finalist, Response Training is proud to showcase the innovative and practical approaches that have helped learners overcome barriers to participation, develop new skills and achieve meaningful employment outcomes.

Regional & Remote Specialists

Decades of experience delivering accredited training across the Northern Territory, from major towns to the most remote communities.

Over the past year, our trainers have visited over 60 communities, working closely with councils, employers, and local organisations to ensure every learner can access nationally recognised qualifications — without having to leave their community.
