Response Employment and Training has developed a fair and equitable Complaints, Appeals and Assessment Appeals Policy.
Students may lodge complaints that involve the conduct of the RTO, its trainers, assessors, other staff including its contractors or any third-party providing services on our behalf, or other students.
Students may lodge complaints in writing, verbally or through a representative acting on their behalf. Complaints may be lodged with the CEO or submitted through quality@responsetraining.com.au
All complaints received are acknowledged, investigated and a decision is to be made within 60 calendar days. Where this timeframe cannot be met, complainants will be advised of the reasons and progress updates will be provided.
Once a decision is made and you remain dissatisfied you can request a review to be undertaken. The RTO will seek a person independent of the RTO to review the decision. If you are requesting a review this must be made within 28 calendar days of the decision being made. Appeals can be lodged with the CEO or submitted through quality@responsetraining.com.au
There is no cost to students to lodge a complaint or an appeal.
All complaints, appeals and assessment appeals records and information are retained securely and are kept confidential.
We use the information from complaints to improve our services.
Details of our Complaints, Appeals and Assessment Appeals Policy are also detailed in the Student Handbook.
