Feedback and Quality Improvement
Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) within Australia are required to comply with standards set by the Australian Quality Training Framework as part of the Vocational Education and Training System.
As part of these standards Response Employment & Training, is required to collect, use and report data on three Quality Indicators.
These Quality Indicators are:
- Learner Engagement - This indicator focuses on the extent to which learners are engaging in activities likely to promote high-quality skill outcomes and includes learner perceptions of the quality of their competency development and the support they receive or have received from RTOs.
- Employer Satisfaction - This indicator focuses on employer evaluation of learner competency development and the relevance of learner competencies for work and further training, as well as employer evaluation of the overall quality of the training and assessment. An Employer Questionnaire will be provided to employers on completion of staff training.
- Competency Completion - This is calculated for qualifications and units of competency/modules delivered, based on data provided by RTOs on the previous calendar year’s number of enrolments and qualifications completed and/or units of competency/modules awarded.
